The Race

How close is Castle Stuart to the airport if you are planning a golf trip. It is claimed that if you are in the centre of London, Castle Stuart Golf Links is the links golf course you can travel to quickest. Partly because its so close to Inverness Airport. We were asked to show how close. We developed the idea of a race. The course manager played the 9th hole while we drove from the airport to the clubhouse. Who won? Well you'll need to watch. The film was split into a series of episodes and released on social media over a few days.

A short film that shows how much you could do on a day trip to the Island of Harris. The whole ad was shot in a single day almost "as live" and then edited into a number of versions for use across the client's social media channels..

This TV ad resulted in a huge surge in enquiries and business for the guys at Simon Kelman. This animation was created for Inverness based plumbing and heating company Simon Kelman. It really does make TV advertising accessible to any business.

Bespoke Premium Glass

Glasstorm wanted a film that provided a dramatic interpretation of what they do. The company is one of Britain's most exciting hot glass studios with works being showcased in museums, galleries and private/public collections. Their film reflects the excitement of the creative process. Like many other clients they capitalised on the production by asking us to create several versions for use across different platforms and for varying purposes. This includes social media, exhibitions, web site and sales presentations.

Talent Attraction

Attracting talented people to the Highlands is made so much easier by the surroundings. HIE commissioned us to create a series of films that showed that the Highlands is about more than just beautiful scenery. We filmed with a series of people doing amazing work in the area and took a peak behind the scenes at what they get up to in their spare time. This version was for social media and we always recommend subtitles when that is the destination. Most people scroll through their channels with the sound off.

An April fool video that set Social media buzzing for a local garage. Every year our friends at Anderson Clark Motor Repairs work with us to produce an April Fool video for social media. Its one of their most engaged with posts of the year and is a great way of using humour to keep your name in front of your customers. Why did we choose the one from 2018? Its probably our favourite. And don't tell anyone but we believe a few people actually called up to enquire.

Initiative Introduction

Communicating the range of benefits of the City Bid initiative was all about making it clear and concise. The Inverness City Bid is a wide reaching initiative with many strands. This animation was commissioned to give the public a comprehensive but concise overview of all of the initiatives the Bid is involved in. The animation uses a mix of stock illustrations and custom drawn images to clearly place the film in the Inverness area.

Toyota Plug In Challenge

The Toyota Hybrid has an interesting secret how many people can find it? We were asked to film at a shopping centre as passers by were set the challenge to find out where to plug in the charger for the car. The results were interesting and the candid feel of the film adds to the sense of viewer involvement. An interesting behind the scenes tale involves the crew getting trapped in a lift after the shoot. But that's for another time and place.
